The history of ColorClimax and EP Production

The enterprise Color Climax corporation (CCC) began 1966 with the publication of the porn magazine „ColorClimax “, first still illegaly, because Porn was still forbidden at this time in Denmark. When 1968 the Porn in Denmark were waived, the situation changed, and the magazine could be produced legally. Since Porn remained longer forbidden in most other states some years than in Denmark, the worldwide demand for it was satisfied first mainly in Denmark, which made a rapid growth and the publication of further magazine titles for the ColorClimax possible. 1969 appeared the first colored printed Porn magazine of the Color Climax. In the 70's-years the enterprise began with the production of porn films, which appeared later first as Super-8-Film, than video cassettes.

EP Production (Ervin Petersen) with seat in Copenhagen, likewise since decades a tradition enterprise in the erotism industry, took over some years ago of the Color Climax corporation the entire film right existence for exclusive, worldwide evaluation on video home system and DVD. The sales of the films on video home system in the last years equal one today no longer conceivable sensation. Single titles were partly sold over 100.000 times into the whole world.
